Relationship Break Up Advice - Why The "No Contact Rule" Isn't Sufficient

The No Contact Rule is one of the most powerful pieces of relationship break up advice not only when you want to get an ex back but also when you want to get over someone. It means that you must not initiate contact with your ex for the next 20-30 days.

Now, let me qualify this statement. While this is a sound strategy, you should NOT use it on it's own and expect everything to work out ok for you. During the cut off period, you need to be actively doing things that will not only get your ex back in your arms but will make them fall in love with you.

This is the only surefire way that guarantees that when you do get them back, that they won't abscond again from you in say 3-6 months time.

Ok so how can i make them fall in love with me?

In my book "How To Make Anyone Fall In Love With You Using Psychology" I show how using psychological analysis of your ex, you can make them fall in love with you. Yes the no contact rule is a good start, but it's just that - a start.

So what does the main principals of the no contact rule involve? The first day for this whole period starts the day after you last called or sent an email, IM or text message to your ex. You may find this very difficult to do because it would require you to cut off any communication with him/her. But believe me, all your effort and patience will pay off in the end.

The no contact rule works in two ways:

  1. In getting an ex back: It is said that absence makes the heart grow fonder. This means that you have to stay away from your ex to make him/her think about you. Make it appear like you are okay with the break up and are getting along well with your single life. Be sure that your ex hears about you going out and having fun with your friends, or that you've been doing great in your career. He/She will definitely be surprised with how you're coping up and see how strong of a person you have become. You'll be attractive in his/her eyes. He/She will suddenly miss the times you were together and would want to get back with you.

  2. In moving on: Absence makes the heart forget. Not being able to see or speak with your ex will help you get on with your life. The absence of communication between the two of you will allow you to get used to being single and get your mind off the awful things you've been through. Take this time as an opportunity to do the things you've always wanted to do. Keep yourself busy and focus on all the good things that you want to happen with your life.
