What is "water therapy" and can it really help me lose weight?
In this article, I'd like to talk about a way of losing weight healthily and without harming your body. It’s called Water Therapy.
Water Therapy or Hydrotherapy is the use of water in fostering physical well-being, but also plays an important role in weight loss. To be honest, it is probably the most inexpensive and natural method to lose weight.
The good thing about water is, not only does it hydrate you, but the excess energy you get from drinking water will not be stored in your body. It will just go out of your body through urine. Where as in food, the excess energy will be stored as fat and so it adds to your weight.
How else does it help you lose weight?
Drinking a lot of water, especially before you eat, makes you feel full, so you won’t eat as much. This way you are able to cut down on your intake of food without feeling hungry all the time. Tips for doing water therapy include:
To prepare your digestive tract, drink a lot of water 30 minutes before eating.
To eliminate toxins by sweating, drink a lot of water before you exercise.
Drink water in little proportions throughout the day, 8 or 16 ounce proportions to be specific.
What else can water therapy achieve?
Water prevents heart diseases: It helps unclog arteries and veins in the brain and heart. Drinking a lot of water is certainly better than spending a lot of money for medications.
Drinking water is very good for the skin: Hydration starts from the inside then proceeds to the outside, the skin. It can be said that good looking skin is a side effect of drinking water.
It helps in Cancer prevention: Oxygen can kill cancer cells. If you drink a lot of water, you are enabling the oxygen and active immune cells in your blood to reach parts of the body that have cancer cells and then destroy them.
